Notary Public

Vincent Shannon, Laura Shannon and Ollie Shannon all practise as a Notary and are available to sign documents at our offices at 29 Main Street, Swords, County Dublin, or by special arrangement at other locations.

A mobile Notary service is also available at an extra cost. A Notary Public is a Public Officer who deals mainly in non-contentious matters usually concerned with international business. A Notary Public is empowered to administer oaths and attest signatures and authenticate documents. A Notary Public also can draft Affidavits for use in foreign countries and can prepare declarations and affirmations.

Mercantile Law also features in the work of a Notary who can receive and make protests, and can issue notarial certificates in respect of documents. A Notary also draws up Powers of Attorney and other legal documents for use in foreign countries. Each person who appears before a Notary to have a document notarised must identify himself or herself with a Passport or Driving Licence.

Vincent Shannon, Laura Shannon and Ollie Shannon are happy to attend at your business premises to have documents signed in front of a Notary Public.
